Montri Lawkobkit has 25+ years of experience as an Information Technology (IT) and digital specialist in customer services, data protection, business process improvement, change management and project management. He is recently helping businesses to stay within data protection law (PDPA), IT Audit (ISO/IEC27001:2013 Information Security Management System), staff training and a complete project to align organizations with best practice. His role is always to advise and help his clients understand risk and exposure, enabling informed decisions.

He spent four years in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as the IT Infrastructure Manager of the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region for the company’s global “Follow the Sun: Three Continents IT Services” office. Montri’s responsibilities was the ASEAN digital for the South-East Asian Region. He implemented several digital projects such as Retailer Segmentation (a survey tool in the agriculture industry) for Kenya, Indonesia and Thailand and Consumption Tracking (a channel inventory and customer loyalty program) for Kenya, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. These two projects were part of digital transformation projects for business processes improvement.

In the area of innovation, he introduced drone imaging in the agriculture business to gather more detailed data and as a revolutionary method for the spraying of pesticides, fungicides and insecticides in paddy fields. Drones enable faster and safer surveys of crops than traditional methods.

Additionally, in academia, Montri obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Business Informatics and has been conducting research in the area of service management, service improvement, service quality and service fairness in cloud computing for more than 8 years. His articles have been regularly published in journals and at conference proceedings in Thailand and overseas. His research has contributed to the field of study and has been invaluable in many local and global projects.

Besides his expertise in Business Informatics (marketing & sales IT solutions and service management), Montri has vast experience with people management and has been constantly involved in coaching his colleagues and others in marketing, sales, and IT to exceed their expectations and achieve excellence across the region. Montri’s passion is to help others to help themselves has made him well liked by his superiors, peers and subordinates and he has constantly sought better ways to enable him to achieve better results for the people he is coaching. He obtained his two coaching credentials from the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and the UC Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute as a Certified Executive Coach.

In his profession, Montri is one of the three founding members of VV Share Foundation – “Turn Waste into Food” serving as Director & Secretary General and Thailand Blockchain Association serving as a director. He is also a volunteer ICF coach and a member of the ICF Bangkok Chapter. Montri speaks Thai, English and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, and Teo Chew).
